Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the DZ-Tech Sales Assistant application (the “Application”) handles information when an eBay seller authorizes the Application to access their eBay account.
Information we process
Depending on the permissions you grant, the Application may process seller account information, listings and SKUs, orders and line items, financial transactions, fees, payouts, traffic and performance analytics, and eBay user identifiers required for account security or compliance. We limit the use of buyer personal information and do not include unnecessary buyer names, addresses, or contact details in analytical reports.
How we use information
We use this information to download and prepare seller-authorized reports, analyze sales, fees, listings, traffic, and operational performance, support business decisions, maintain service security, and comply with legal and eBay platform requirements, including marketplace account deletion requests.
Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by eBay and by infrastructure service providers, such as Cloudflare, only as needed to operate and secure the Application. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above or to meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. We process eBay Marketplace Account Deletion notifications and delete affected data unless retention is legally required.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted connections, and restricted handling of authentication credentials. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices
You may revoke the Application’s eBay authorization through your eBay account settings. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information associated with your use of the Application, contact us at brian@dz-tech.com.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the Application, legal requirements, or platform requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
